First of all we will like to thank you for the support you have been giving OneKJPop. From the email suggestions to the viewings, Thank You.
Furthermore, today a decision was made between two blogging sites; OneKJPop and Asianpocorn. For the reason that we want more for our viewers we are deciding to join forces.

Neither OneKJPop nor Asianpopcorn is shutting down; we are just joining forces to cover more ground on all things Asia.

[ ANIME ] Kimi Ni Todoke

Kimi ni Todoke means Reaching you. It is about a high school student (Sawako Kuronuma) who never had a friend. Life was tough for her basically because she looked like the girl from “The Ring”. All throughout elementary and middle school, she always had to play by herself, do homework by herself and hangout alone. Despite the way her classmates treated her, she willingly took positions in the class no one wanted; for an example: class representative. She did this thinking they will one day recognize her for helping them but that never happened. Sawako tired really hard but her feelings were always misunderstood.
Sawako is actually a very kind and shy person. She enjoyed gardening, playing with animals, and helping people at need. She never looks down on people but rather puts herself at risk to lift them up. She dislikes misunderstandings and tires her best to clear up situations. All she wants is to make friends and to be liked back.
Furthermore, this dream becomes clearer when popular boy Kazehaya Shota begins talking to Sawako. Kazehaya was the most popular person in both high and middle school. He is very social and people just seemed to enjoy the atmosphere around him.
When he starts to talk to Sawako, this was when she made 3 additional friends; Ayane Yano, Chizuru Yoshida and Ryu Sanada.
That’s all I can tell without giving a spoiler.

Watch this anime. It is really interesting because it could easily be a hit Korean/Japanese drama.

Note: The 2nd season of this show is still being aired.
